### View payment accounts linked to a credit card.
A cardmember wants to see all of the payment accounts that are linked to their credit card. The Credit Card Payments API allows the cardmember to view any checking or savings accounts linked to the card.

### Add a new payment account to a credit card account.
A cardmember wants to enroll a new payment account on their credit card account. This API will allow the cardmember to create a payment account so that the specified institution may receive payments in a timely manner from the cardmember’s credit card account in order to stay current with their bills.

### Delete an existing payment account from the credit card account.
A cardmember has a payment account that needs to be removed from their credit card account. When circumstances change, the cardmember is free to make updates at any time and remove a payment account after being deemed no longer required for the cardmember’s current obligations.

### Add, update or remove the nickname for a given payment account.
A cardmember would like to use personal nicknames for their accounts to easily identify their account. Using digital channels, the cardmember can add, update or delete a nickname for a payment account to differentiate between accounts at a glance.

### Review credit card payment activity.
A cardmember wants to review their past, current and future credit card payment activities. To view payment activity, the cardmember can access various digital channels. The cardmember can view payment activities, examine payments categories, frequency of payments, monthly bills and discretionary spending. This can give cardmembers insight into their spending and possibly a new payment strategy.

### Make a one-time payment to a cardmember’s credit card account.  
A cardmember wants to pay their monthly credit card bill so they don't miss their due date and avoid a late payment fee. They may arrange for this payment to be processed on their credit card account prior to the bill’s due date.  

### Retrieve scheduled payments on a cardmember’s credit card account.  
A cardmember wants to check a one-time payment previously scheduled on their credit card account. Cardmembers may now view their credit card account’s scheduled payments to plan their monthly finances accordingly, ensuring the cardmember’s cash flow is available for payment as life’s circumstances change. 

### Update existing payments scheduled on a credit card account. 
Many people have various account types such as checking, savings, investments or credit cards. A cardmember has an investment brokerage account, in which they sold some stock. Now they want to pay off their credit card account’s balance in full. Cardmembers can update scheduled payments that are not in process or not yet completed. After transferring the funds to their checking account, a cardmember can easily update the amount of a scheduled payment from the minimum payment to pay off the full balance of the credit card. This account’s zero balance will reflect positively on the cardmember’s credit score once this payment is reported to credit bureaus.

### Cancel existing payments scheduled on a cardmember’s credit card account. 
The cardmember’s cash flow has been affected because their tax refund was not received on time. Now they need to cancel a scheduled payment on their credit card account. The cardmember may cancel this scheduled payment to remove it completely from their account, offering peace of mind that no unwanted payments are processed.

### Retrieve the automatic payment setup details.
A cardmember has a credit card accoun.t that needs to be paid on time. The cardmember previously set up a monthly automatic payment (AutoPay). The cardmember wants to review their automatic payment settings to verify the payment will be made on the date they expect.

### Set up AutoPay for a credit card account.
A cardmember wants to pay their credit card account bill by using AutoPay on a monthly basis. The eligible cardmember may set up AutoPay for the credit card account to assure the account will be paid on the date they specified.

### Update AutoPay setup details of the credit card account.
A cardmember wishes to change their payment account, type of payment or payment date. With the Credit Card Payments API, the cardmember may update AutoPay setup details on their credit card account to confirm payments will be made on schedule.

### Delete the AutoPay setup details for a credit card account.
A cardmember has an AutoPay set up on their credit card account that they would like to have removed. The cardmember may delete the AutoPay setup details for that credit card account to assure that no unwanted payments will be made in error.

### Obtain payment due date. 
A cardmember previously changed their payment due date on their credit card account. The cardmember can review their account to verify if their payment due date was updated.  

### Obtain statement cycle information.  
A cardmember wants to know more about their statement cycle. The cardmember may view their statement cycle information to verify when the current cycle ends. 

### Update payment due date for a credit card account.  
A cardmember got a new job that only pays employees once a month instead of weekly like their past employer had done. The cardmember may update their payment due date to coincide with their new job’s monthly direct deposit date ensuring no late payments are made to their credit card account.

Credit Card Payments

The Credit Card Payments API allows cardmembers to retrieve all eligible credit card payment accounts, payment activity and automatic payments. Cardmembers can add or delete payment accounts on their credit card account and add, change or remove personal nicknames to payment accounts. Cardmembers can make, edit, delete or view a one-time payment. This API has expanded AutoPay features, allowing cardmembers to create, revise or remove AutoPay setup details for a credit card account.
